Signage Work Begins in Legnano on Line 15
Work for the installation of vertical and horizontal signage along Line 15 of the Cambio Bicycle Plan is set to begin in mid-July 2025.
The signage work will affect the following sections within the Legnano municipality: Isola del Castello, Piazza Mercato, Giardini Piera Pattani (between Via Castello and Viale Gorizia), Via dei Tessitori (in the green area of the former Cantoni site), Via Musazzi (from Via dei Tessitori to Via Pontida), Via Pontida (from Via Musazzi to Corso Garibaldi), and Corso Garibaldi. As the work proceeds northward, it will cause temporary and limited lane reductions on Via Musazzi, Via Pontida, and Corso Garibaldi. Completion is expected by the end of July.
These interventions precede further improvements to the cycling route, which will include, from south to north: the raising of the Viale Gorizia crossing, the asphalting of sections of Lungo Olona, the revision of the intersection with Via Beccaria, the relocation of the cycling path in Piazza Carroccio, the passage through Largo Tosi, and the connection with the "Move on" route at the border with Castellanza.
These projects aim to optimize the usability and safety of the urban cycling network, promoting sustainable mobility.
